Local rescues include:

P.A.W.S. - The Progressive Animal Welfare Society - www.pawsadoptioncenter.org

The Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) Adoption Center, Inc., strives to be a model in animal welfare. All of our animals are veterinary examined and inoculated. All are given loving care until they are adopted to suitable and loving homes. We strive to solve the pet overpopulation problem through education, neutering and spaying...not euthanization.

PAWS is a totally non-profit, private organization. All money for animal care, veterinary fees and Adoption Center expenses is donated by animal lovers like you or generated by PAWS fundraisers. Our volunteers give their time freely to help the animals. If you would like to help in this humane work, please call 422-PAWS.
